We are a company dedicated to providing support to the Chilean salmon farming industry, offering specialized services in the areas of auditing, data collection and analysis, research proposals, and evaluations. With almost two decades of experience, Aquabench® remains faithful to the work philosophy with which it was founded, adapting to the constant changes in the industry and responding to its challenges through innovation, experience, deep knowledge of the market, and commitment to transparency, confidentiality, and excellence.

Our History
· 2007 Aquabench® is born
With the aim of providing services for sanitary management and decision-making in the aquaculture industry through biosecurity audits and integration and standardization of production data.
· 2008 and 2009 Aquabench® develops and applies its biosecurity protocols by starting its auditing services
Throughout the entire production chain, as a support to the sanitary management of producers to control the ISA virus first and then providing preventive biosecurity solutions in the different stages. Most of the protocols developed were incorporated into the regulation.
· 2012: We launched benchmarking for salmon processing plants
With 21 participants.
· 2013 We started the Caligus project
With the objective of contributing to the evaluation of prevention and control strategies.
· 2015 We started the SRS project
With the aim of supporting the evaluation of the efficacy of treatments.
· 2021 Salmobench® which gathers sanitary and productive information
Reaches 100% representativeness in the industry, incorporating the 18 grow-out producers.
· 2022 We started the Melanosis project
In addition to beginning Sustainability Benchmarking.
· 2023 Aquabench® acquired 50% ownership of the CIBA laboratory
With a view to developing an industry-leading analytical services project.
· 2024 We launched the Salmobench® platform
in Chile.
